    Hello from the Netherlands

I joined already some time ago but I was not very active. Fact is that I'm now on the very beginning of building my own Lister Bell Stratos. After about 10 months waiting list LB asked me how I want my chassis to be made So I hope to start "screwing" in about 3 months.

I will be an Alitalia striped square body shape with Alfa 4C engine and TCT double clutch gearbox. Something different I think

    Hi Stephan,
I had built a Hawk HF2000, now sold to Germany. Do you live nearby Arnhem? Maybe nice to meet up someday. I am in the proces of gathering all parts for my Lancia 037 project.
If you need any help or advise don't hesitate to ask. Although i think the Lister Bell is quit a different build.
I do have an extensive library of pictures gathered in my building years.

    Cheer,

    Pim

    Re: Hello from the Netherlands

Because the start of my LB build is coming nearby now I'm now a paying member So now I can read all other LB buildthreads and gadder tips and info. But of course many questions will pop up in the future. However the most difficult won't be easy to answer since I will use Alfa 4C engine.gearbox and electronics. I don't think anybody else else dared to do this. I see it as a very interestng challange. I hope to be able (related to time) to keep up a build thread.

Hi Stephan - Interesting engine choice ! Cant be many of those around ?
But 1750cc , 4 cylinder turbocharged and 240bhp with a 6 speed dual clutch auto box and flappy paddles - it should be fun!

Where did you get the engine ? - was it from a write-off?

    Good luck with the build

    Peter

    Hi Peter.

Yes a write-off. Some one else it's misfurtune is always somebody's else it's luck... I guess.....

It should get all the other tricks from the 4C as well. Which electronic dash, full ABS incl traction control. However it can be switched of in the so called "Race" position from the DNA+R switch. For those you are unfamiliar with it it's a driver selection switch. "A" is for bad weather. "N" is for normal driving. "D" is for dynamic driving and "R" for Race which switches off all the electronic helps. It influences power and torque, throttle behaviour and ABS/traction control level.
