    24v manifolds

Has anybody got a pair of 24v manifolds that are surplus to requirements?
Got to be cheapish, cos' management says she is going to stop my pocket money if I spend more on her rival, rather than her!!

be careful what car they are off Griff as some may have different offsets............. ie those off a Spider are different to 166 for example !

Phil, thank you for the warning, anybody else want to contribute what the difference in offsets might be? ** I intend to adapt them for use on a 12v car** as per the link below

    Re: 24v manifolds

The different offsets would be on the outlet side. Intakes spacing will all be consistent.

Purchased long ago, I just unboxed my spare 24V set. I have a 12V engine handy that had studs only on the top side of each port. The 24V manifold hangs off the 12V engine perfectly. However, the lower studs will not match. Stud spacing on each port is about 62.5 mm on the 12V compared to 70 mm on the 24V manifold.

You need new flanges. Cut off the round to oval transition section of tube from each header, assemble new flanges on the heads, insert manifold tube ends and tack weld them

    Re: 24v manifolds

My spare 24V manifolds are to someday replace the built-in cat manifolds on one of my two CF3 engines. So far, one engine is a spare. Just trying to cover all the contingencies.
