door handles from x19 - what years?

inner handles from 850 - what years?

license plate lights from pantera? - what years?

switches from x19 - what years and which switches? I am only aware of the idea that the switches came from an x19, I do not know which ones and how many? Maybe there are others I need as well?

shifter from lancia beta - what years?

Parking brake assembly from x19 - what years?

Steerign column, stalks and all from x19 - what years?

Thanks for the guidance, these will be going into a stradale style interior and I wish to make it look at authentic as possible. I have done what I can to see which parts come from which cars, but I am just not sure if there are differences between years.

Any year as the external dimensions are the same. The chrome handled ones are what you need for the stradale and black ones as an option.

only in chrome!!

license plate lights from pantera? - what years?

pass - I thought it was a Ferrari one. Gerry @ Hawk cars used to do a 'glass copy.

The early one - the 1300, You'll need the column stalks from this vehicle too and, if you can get it, the handbrake lever with the lever an knob. And another as the Stratos had a choke lever and hand throttle.

shifter from lancia beta - what years?

Series 1 but you're more likely to find one on a Fiat 124 Spider, it's wooden and conical.

Parking brake assembly from x19 - what years?

1300 cc. The first X19

Steerign column, stalks and all from x19 - what years?

1300 again

Thanks for the guidance, these will be going into a stradale style interior and I wish to make it look at authentic as possible. I have done what I can to see which parts come from which cars, but I am just not sure if there are differences between years.

Instruments from a Fiat Dino Coupe. Plus a Veglia Borletti +50 to -50 Amp Ammeter (good luck!)

Reading through all the old back issues of the news letter I came across a very comprehensive list of donor parts and sources. The news letter is on here for download, issue 19.

Thanks for the input gentlemen - I didn't think to check the back issues, just the forum.

Wooden shift knob can also be sourced from the Fulvia 3 (the very last Fulvia).
The series 1 Beta is bound to be correct though.

license plate lights from pantera? - what years? Original license plate light is the same as the Ferrari 365GTB (Daytona) 365GTB/4, and 246GT (Dino), except the housing is painted black instead of chromed.

Hey Scott, good to hear from you, and always with a bit of information. Guy, or anybody else who would like to chime in......when we are talking about the 1300 X19, is this the 1974 only U.S. cars or the 1975-1978 U.S. cars as well? I am not sure if the 1300 was a designation used world round?

Certainly the early X19's in this country were 1300's. I'm not sure anyone over here is going to be an expert on the differences between European cars and USA cars.
There is a specialist in the US. Is it called mid-west or some such? Or is that where it is?! Maybe they would know better?
I think you are better relying on pictures of original cars and matching those up to parts on offer, particularly with column stalks etc.
Looks like Guy was offering the source of the instruments because it was not on your origianl list?

When it comes to outer doorhandles, if we are talking very picky :), they should be from early X 1/9, not sure when they changed the design of the doorhandle.
This is one thing I noticed when viewing the only original car here in Norway.
It is very easy to see the difference:
On early X 1/9´s, the lock is hinged to the handle and the lock itself is pressed staight in when you open the doorhandle.
On later cars, the lock and handle is one piece, and the lock follows the angle of the doorhandle.

Hope this helps

Regards

René

The 1300 was the engine size, and I think it was standard in all models before 1979. The big diffrerence between the 75-78 USA models and the rest of the world is the bumpers and emission controls - otherwise, I think they have the same interiors. I'm pretty sure that the steering column and stalks from any pre-'79 model are correct for a Stratos replica. I've got a column from a '77, and I know it's the right one. I've also got a column out of an '80, and it's definitely wrong. The shroud is too short, and the stalks are square instead of curved.

If the donor car has a knee bolster that stands proud of the instument binnacle and dash, it should be OK.

If the instrumen binnacle sticks out farther than the rest of the dash, it's wrong
3193.

Scott,
that's a great rule of thumb (as we say)!

Thank you everyone, it is much clearer now. I have started to talk to the people at midwest bayliss. It seems like a pretty big vendor for most of the required parts and I will let you know how they are to work with. There is still one or two things which I am not sure of. There is a red rectangle on the dash - what is that for and where does it come from. Secondly, there is what looks like a black cylindrical object which protrudes from the dash. What is that and where does it come from? This is not the rheostat but maybe a button or light?

Left is the handbrake warning light from an old volvo if i remember correctly. Sure the SEC had a small stock at one time. The right hand item is the trip meter zero knob which will come attached to the speedo.

Guy Mayers

The handbrake warning light can be made from ANY warning light from a 124 Spider. Just sand off the top layer to remove the lettering and then polish it back with T-Cut.
Any Fiat 124/850 Spider/Dino Coupe gauge should have the trip zero knob!

Doddle!

3204and the last one for today - switches left to right (it looks like five in total).....mystery switch on left hand side of wheel on dash, fan, fog, dome, mystery switch with three dots?

Guy Mayers

that over there is the light switch! In at the top for side lights and dipped beam in at the bottom. Main beam control on the stalks.

Not sure about the dotty one! I ought to be after all these years but I've been on the beer tonight and that's affected my brain. Again.

Hazards perhaps?

It really is amazing to see how many parts Lancia pulled into this car. Even items from a Pantera!

I am looking at ordering some parts from Omicron. Just wondering, on the originals, were there stickers on the back or actual badges? Every picture I have is too blurry to tell?

Authentic ones should be screen printed (dark blue ink into vinyl). These are usually available from Omicron.

Or you can use blue cut vinyl onto a chrome effect vinyl backing.

Thanks, I am starting to realize that not having an actual car anywhere near me for reference is making things a bit tricky.
