Hello Forum Members!

I was offered a Fiat Dino 250 km/h Veglia Borletti speedo in good condition.
Seller is asking about 200,- GBP for it.

Is this an appropriate market price for an item like this? Or is it overpriced?

There's a full set on eBay at the moment for twice the price - but you do get the rev counter and four of the five smaller gauges as well! This has to be better value as the oil temperature gauge isn;t easy to find.

I did noticed this offer also.
Besides the speedo and the oil temp gauge the other instruments can normally be found easily.
I got a full Fiat 124 Spider instrument panel for about 100,- GBP.

So comparing the price of this full set with the single speedo. The price of 200,- GBP isn't too bad. Right?

You'll need the rev counter too, the fonts are different between the Dino speedo and the 124 rev counter.

Buy them in pairs as single ones aren't easy to find.

And no, I'm not connected in any way to the eBay seller.

Didn't know that the 124 rev counter wouldn't fit with the Dino Speedo.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

But remember if you are using a Alfa 164 engine, you will have to rebuild the rev counter too.
Talked to Roberto Casetta about this and he has a customer who has got this working in his car, but not a streight swap.
Remember there are almost 30 years between the two...

Another question Michael, why are you not a member and supporting the club?

Ok Rene. Thanks for the info. Will talk to Craig if he can handle this matter.

Well, for membership I think I was lazy filling out the subscription ...

If someone is planning to bid on the before mentioned ebay auction, a tip would be to ask the seller for better / high res pictures prior to placing a bid.......
