View Full Version : Software for Paint Schemes
Does anyone have, or know of, any software that will enable me to trial some proposed paint schemes on a picture or drawing of a Stratos?
Just want to check my thoughts before confirming my body and wheel colour to Craig at LB.
Many thanks
Steve

Airfix kit and paint does it for me.....3D rendition too!
My mate did these for me on his xbox 360 forza 4 game. I just gave him a rough sketch of what i wanted.

Red stradale with gold wheels for me, when's your kit due to be finished? I think mine shouldn't be far off.
Thanks for teh replies:
Chris: I would end up with a 'blob' of paint with 4 tyres sticking out of the bottom once I had tried all the paint schemes...
Skelly: like the movie star, very retro motogp.
Fingers: The chassis is due next month so I am a long way off: it has taken me 9 months to get an old outbuilding converted to a workshop and I still have to fit the doors!
I want to compare the contrast between plain colours, replica designs and different wheel colours: still erring towards the lime green with gold wheels but like the Polski red/white with gold wheels.
Sounds wrong but I do like lime green with red wheels: -

Must admit the red wheels do look good...

But, I still like the gold ones better:

Just a shame I haven't got a better picture as the car tended to run with yellow wheels like this.

If I remember correctly it's you who's got a livestock trailer and big 4x4 to tow it !!!!!!
Say no more.
P.S.
Talking about Russell. Minilite is up and running again. So if you need a cheap alternative to coffin spokes, give him a ring
