Fitted two mass airflow sensors to the BMW M5 last night.
60,000 miles 4.9L V8, 400 bhp, BMW used to advertise a 50p piece balanced on edge to show how smooth it was.
We thought we would try it.....

Pretty impressive (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCzPylfhEbM)

Might need some Superglue to do it with a Strat.

Won't try that with the Strats.

I have tried with a glass of water on my stratos - worked ok:) I think it will manage a 50P coin, will have to try when i get the car back, If I can find somewhere level to balance it on. The balancing done at vibration free is second to none:)

I can vouch for Neils engine & testify to the "vibration free" approach, stock Alfa isn't exactly what you'd call smooth.

Note to anyone fitting a 166/GTV 3.0 & removing the DM flywheel in favour of a solid version, take it & get it balanced professionally it will be worth it.
