Hi All

Off on holiday now but when I get back I will be straight onto this years Tour Britannia, this time I will be driving one of Jerry Bailey's Grp4 Mk2 Escort RS cars whilst Jerry will be in the other car, my co-driver for this year will be Mick Worrall (catswiskers), so if anyone is interested in spectating come out and give us a cheer

Hi Guys
Well we managed 1st in Class and 4th overall
Mick navigated like a true pro and really did do an excellent job
Thanks must also go to Jerry Bailey and his team for supporting us after his engine gave up the gghost without his support we wouldn't have achieved such a respectable result.

Its only 4th place but it is dedicated to Robbie Bailey

cheers
Phil

As Phil says, without the support from Jerry and his team, it would have been a different story. Might only have been 4th overall (only?) but we were the first 'non Porsche' home and that says something for the car and Phil's driving, considering he had never even sat in the car before scrutineering let alone driven it. God that Escort was quick.
Thanks for the invite mate, it was a privelige to be sitting beside you and sharing the experience.
Mick

Quick quote from 'Retro-Speed'
So, after two intense days Phil Hindley and Andy Bull took a well judged first position from Adrian Kermode and Sarah Bennett-Baggs, by a margin of two-and-a-half minutes. John Spiers/Susanne Niedrum were third and Philip Dolby/Mick Worrall a hard earned fourth ahead of John Wykeham and David Brown.

That's great Phil (and Mick) - glad to hear about it. :D

Shame to hear Jerry had another non-finish. We saw him in Somerset where his car retired early from the event with distributor problems. The rear window stickers have a real meaning though - Dedicated to Robbie

All the best,
J.R.
