Hey guys, I came here a while ago looking for pictures and details etc as I'm doing a 1:24 scale Lancia Stratos model kit and wanted to get the details right. Some of you were able to help me out with some details which I was very grateful for so for one I thought I'd post a link to a gallery of my (slow) progress.

The car I'm trying to recreate is the 1977 monte carlo rally winner and the gallery is here:

Also, I have a quick question. Nothing big. There are some small plates with box section sticking out near the rear arches on both sides of the car. My model doesn't have them and I'm going to recreate them but does anyone know what they are? My best guess was for perhaps some type of Jack or castor trolley.

Any help would be great! Just curious that's all.

Except that there are only one on each site of a Group 4 Stratos Chris!

I should add that the picture is of my Hawk replica, so not genuine, but I'm sure it is close enough for your purpose.
The real ones do vary, very slightly.

I shouldn't have a problem replicating them, I was just curious as to what they were, such is my nature :)

It's nice to know and thanks for the pics.

Now, to recreate them at 1:24! :D
