After years of sitting on a Stratos chassis plate I decided I might actually get around to nailing it to the car this rebuild.

So I decided to get it engraved professionally (rather than stamped).

Apparently I have a "Reprica"

No comments about potential export markets please, I am keeping the car!

Anyone got a spare chassis plate?

Guy

Thanks Chris, I'd already ordered one when Matt kindly offered to send me another. It's a race to see which one arrives first and the engravers reaction to a €28 bill for his spelling error.....

Thanks

Oh dear; that's what happened! At least it wasn't a tattoo... If anyone else wants one, I think I have a couple left over but I do have to locate them so may take me a while - but PM me if interested.

6558 PS This is our latest folly - replicating the top mounts - probably foolhardy because of the major surgery involved, but does mean we can use the complete original uprights unaltered.

66056606Random question perhaps (and haven't worked out how to post new thread) but spent a memorable afternoon recently fooling around in an M1 and wondered whether the screen washer jet is common to the Stradale - looks similar to my untrained eye; anyone know what else it might off or where to get one?
