It says it's Folkestone and they're driving on the left, so not SoF!

So maybe they were on there way....;)

You could ask Nico, or Paul Hassell, thats 2 of the cars, I cant be sure of the other.

Chris Jarvis could no doubt tell you, he can tell a lightbulb at 1/2 a mile so this would be a walk in the park.

Wherever they went, lets hope they had a good time.

It's Sando, Chris and Jane, Nico and Paul H.
I didn't know anything about this myself, until these youtube vids showed up, but I fully understand why the run hasn't been broadcast.

Yes they but it takes a fair bit of time and effort !!.... I arranged it... Tunnel, hotels, routes..... Etc etc.... Stayed for 6 nights in my farmhouse, all food was at a friends chateau to try to keep costs down. We also visited Chartres, Lake Annecy and Reims on the trip as well as the Michelin factory museum, Viaduct de la Millau, Mont Dore, Puy de Sancy, Ambert and le Puy en Velay..... It was worth all the effort

Say Phil, as you know we need an events organiser, fancy giving it a go for the club?

Ok, 'trivia question;
Who's Millau's famous son? (As far as the likes of us are concerned, that is.)

Well the obvious answer is Norman Foster but I suspect that I've missed the point here?

That was going to be my next trivia question. Yep, British designed.

No, Norman's not from Millau, as far as I know. I can't give a clue, it would make it too easy.

All right then, 'inhabitant' rather than 'son of', but yes, you'd have won a prize, if there was one.
Apparently he was an Ambulance driver, maybe like this 'pedal to the metal' Peter Gilmore character (here (http://www.gilmore-stallybrass.eu/images/peterfilm/carryon/doctor/doctor.jpg)).

Carry On Doctor?

Yes Guy, with the overdub that sounds like a works XK Jag engine.

A sight that you don't see very often and it wasn't staged, all came of the motorway for fuel and food stop.
