I asked our manufacturer the same question Phil here is the reply.
Hi Ian,
Our thoughts …
It is a Pilkington screen, more than likely made by NSG who were the original manufacturers for HAWK.
It isn’t one of ours because it is single circuit, wires in the wrong place and also no black band.

Plenty I could say but think it best I reign in my big mouth, keep my thoughts to myself etc before 'offenders' become offended!

There are lots of people around with more money than sense. The UK economy relies on that fact......
I was told that the reason they produced this screen was at the request of the owner of the car that was restored by them recently. Apparently he didn't like the black banding on the screen we produced. I suppose if you can afford the price of an original Stratos these days then having a heated screen produced would be pocket money.

Its a shame he did not ask up Chris, we could have sold him one without the band....we had some.
