Well I'm very happy to report that my Lister Bell passed the IVA this morning without a hitch. :o Massive thanks to Craig for all his help in getting the car ready and taking it for the test on my behalf. Also for all his support throughout the build. Car is now safely back home.
Now the paperwork excercise begins:rolleyes:

Chassis was delivered to me on June 25th last year so that's just under 8 months. I haven't totalled up the hours yet but I will be doing at some point.

Well done Mick's, and Craig. She looks great.

Did you have a red bulb in one of the 'reversing' lights for the fog light?
Also, did it pass with the side repeaters or did you have to use Craig's mirrors with indicators?

Well done. I saw the car on Sunday and it was looking good, all be it a little bit dusty..

Are you registering on a new plate ie 15 or the Alfa donor?

Centre fog lamp on the car.

Repeaters are on small plinths to ensure that project far enough to pass the 5 degree visibility requirement -

From what I can see in the pictures

Well done on your build. I have been following your progress on the forum since I saw your car part built at Donnington. Your posts were very good with lots of photos and information. I am due to get my kit soon and as I have a little time on my hands hope for a quick build as well.

Congratulations - marvellous effort and car looks fantastic too!

If only IVA could be passed on aesthetic merits alone ...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. As has already been spotted, I've used a centre fog light that is 'F' marked and the side repeaters are on 20mm plinths (for the test). I'm planning an age related plate simply because I didn't have the engine rebuilt to 'as new' spec. so I can't go for new.

Nice one Mick - another rapid build.

The whole being retired from the daily grind thing helps I imagine :) I'll be joining the ranks of the no longer employed next April, but sadly, my resources won't stretch to any car builds. Best find myself a cheap hobby.

Hi Chris,
Nice to hear from you and good luck in your retirement. Unfortunately from my experience the words 'cheap' and 'hobby' very rarely go together.
