Well after a 4 1/2 week wait for the DVLA to do their stuff, T97GBT finally hit the road on Friday evening. Decided to celebrate by taking for a run to our new place which we move into next week. Think it sits very well.
:D
I've also now fitted a vinyl bonnet plate instead of the 'normal' type. Much better looking in my opinion.

Really sorry for the let down guys. Fact is that with the house move and all the work to be done, I just didn't have time. Once I'm settled in I'll make the time to get round to see you all. Hope you all had a good day, at least the weather looked nice.

It's a possibility Guy. I'm getting ready for a 'day off' although the weather looks decidedly suspect all weekend. I'll keep a close eye on the rain and decide closer the time. It will be Monday if I do make it.

Mick , or anyone else!

Which DVLA Form is best for registration after IVA?

V55/4 states for new motor vehicle including kitcars and V55/5 states for used motor vehicles. I suspect 55/5 is best as I have used an old enine/gearbox and 55/4 is for 'as new' engine?

This is what is in the gov web site, I completed several sets of forms that is.

Documents needed to register a vehicle

Application for a first tax disc and registration of a used motor vehicle’ (V55/5) or ‘Application for a first tax disc and registration of a new motor vehicle’ (V55/4) (for new kit built vehicles)

Vehicle tax (where appropriate)
Form ‘Built up Vehicle Inspection Report’ (V627/1) (to be filled in before inspection)
IVA/SVA/MSVA certificate (if required)
MoT certificate (if required)
Insurance certificaten Certificate of Newness (kit cars)
Registration Fee (if required)
Receiptsn Documentation confirming your name and address(see section 9)
Registration Certificate (V5C) (if a donor vehicle is used)For kit converted, radically altered and rebuilt vehicles, the V5C must be presented with the other paperwork.

I would say you fall under the ‘Application for a first tax disc and registration of a new motor vehicle’ (V55/4) (for new kit built vehicles)'

Or just give them a quick call..
