Had a ten hour round trip to Surrey today to collect the 166, lovely car, real shame to break it for the engine and box. At least some of the parts will go to good homes.

I think you should sell it as a going concern!, you have enough engines as it stands, register the car as a new build, job sorted.

Don't think I could register it as a new build, it's made from almost all carefully rehashed second hand parts! Thinking about 166's I think I've got engines from 0.5% of the UK quota for 166's!

I keep getting twinges of guilt about the donor I bought recently...but then I look at it closely and it's not a patch on our daily driver, closer I look, the more things wrong I find. Might even get a chance to make a start stripping it soon....sooner it's gone, the sooner I can stop getting the twinges!
