I'm about to finish my newly built garage, and before I lay my new concrete floor, I've been thinking of installing two meter LED strips in aluminium extrusion, underneath the lift. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience or tips of LED uplighter.

Perhaps more useful and less involved if installed on the lift itself?

Agree with John - might be problems with shadows if you're standing on them / between them and the bit of car you want to see.

Oooh, now that's a good idea. Hmmmm.

Hi John,

What would you recommend for a lift light, open to all options. Led might be a problem with shadows.

You can buy LEDs in rolls by the metre now, so easy to attach to stuff or design your own.. Even B&Q have it.
