Beta glove box???

I think that might be a later series Beta Coupe/HPE one and shouldn't be too hard to find. The earlier Beta pre facelift (78 & earlier) is harder to get, closet to the original but still not right....

I used one from a Fiat 124 glovebox because it was much easier to find. I've no idea how closely it compares to an original, but it looked good enough for me. This picture is from Midwest-Bayless who carry stock, but you'll often see them on ebay also

Measurements of the original type lock for Frederic:
(Lock is new, and has two keys)

Thanks Chris
but I think it's a different shape and not exactly the same measurements as you can see on the removed lock

Thats a beta lock so Beta glove box which is what is stated in my Transformer build manual but maybe because they used Beta donor cars back in the day!

Thanks Tim
you're right
I'm searching this beta glove box lock, not easy to find with one key
I found both for sale in Midwest bayless but without key!
I have the same problem with door handles with no key anymore; all Keys have been lost by people who collected the car after my purchase!!
Also I need to replace all locks for securing the car against theft and for insurance reasons :(

I have only one door key which operates the drivers door but not the passenger or the engine compartment lock. Its always a mystery how this happens especially as I know the short history of my car. I always get duplicates cut of any keys I have......

You're right Chris. 'Didn't see that.
I've got some parts of a late Beta (bar shaped key type) glovebox lock, and that one has a split on it too. 'Must be a common fault on those?
