Tidy looking car. Looks well build from the pics.
Has it got a radio fitted? What's the thoughts on fitting a stereo to a Strat? I was thinking about it but not sure. I do like a bit of music when I'm driving.

Nice car and probably a bargain!
A next purchase for a fellow member??
Considering the exchange rate now, it's maybe cheap enough for buying in this side of the Channel!!
A "Brexit" bargain perhaps Frederic!?
Happy holidays!

Well spotted that man.
It's only just come back from Craig having had the new wheels and some bigger brakes fitted. I knew one of the cams I had custom made in the US had failed a while back (chunk fell off a lobe apparently), although didn't know the engine had been rebuilt (again!).
Radio was OK TBH, but then I had put a fair amount of sound deadening in it. Double skin bulkhead filled with foam, carpet on top of 1/2" underlay throughout. Even had carpet in the boot.....
ETA, I sent the advert to Vickie. She asked if I wanted to buy it back. At that price, I think I'd much prefer to go visit Craig and get an order in for a Toyota powered LB STR kit.

Excuse the thread hijack, just on the subject of radios. I'm putting some of these speakers in side the headrests. They're just the right size to fit inside the LB headrest covers after I make up some new frames to hold them. I'm just going to run the wires up the back of the seat. Two in each headrest, don't let the low price fool you, they're a nice sounding wee driver. I didn't want to cut holes in any part of the interior, and I'll hide the head unit somewhere out of sight too. https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-3-fullrange/peerless-830987-3-full-range-8-ohm/

'Makes the 'Sony car' seem like a bargain Phil?
I only got half as much for mine in 2012.
There's a rise in kit Stratos values, for certain. It's supply an demand, I guess?
However, the values of originals have no bearing on finished kit prices in my opinion.
Originals will, obviously, be a always be a finite thing, which is why people are 'parking' money in them.

Some actual auction hammer prices for originals:
2105 - £373,509.00
2015 - £334,702.00
2014 - £511,434.00
2013 - £291,944.00
2013 - £332,432.00
2012 - £231,695.00
Yes, I have got better things to do, but it's interesting?

That's interesting indeed!
All original collectible cars are rising in price since these last years... As all Ferraris and Italian sport cars! Original Stratoses follow same rise...now Stradale are around half million £ and group 4 much More!! Maybe some speculation but as they are rare and desirable things for rich collectors
Also Stratos replicas follows same way and we can understand their price are around 10% of original cars according the cost of a build now around 40-50 k£ included pricy parts and works!
