2017 Calender

The time is coming when the 2017 calendar needs to be looked at, pics selected, and creating it.

I have overseen this for the past 3 years or so, but I dont have the time this year to do it, so we need someone to step up and take this on, or you wont have a calendar for next year!

I'm happy to advise whoever takes over, if they need me to, as to where we get them printed etc.


So if you can spare some time, want to put back into the club, then offer now.

Hello People......

So Peter has stepped up to the mark and has offered to have a go for you all, now its up to you to help him.....

Please send Peter you best images so he has something to work with, these need to be copyright free, and you are happy for them to be used on the Club Calendar.
Sending in a photo means you are allowing SEC to use them royalty free for the calendar, however you still own the copyright on your images.

If your happy with this then please send them to

He would rather have 40 pics to select from than only 2 repeated 6 times???? you get the idea.

Thanks Ian - If anyone has any shots that are slightly out of the ordinary - maybe a bit arty farty - close ups but etc - no naked ladies please , this is not the Pirelli Calendar (more is the pity some might say !)
Also because I dont know many of the cars in the Club (or indeed many members) can you provide some brief details of the car eg Hawk, LB etc and engine details, and year of IVA or SVA etc
Normal jpeg files would be good

Show me your best shots - preferably ones that have not been used before !!

Thanks Enzo - great shots - but unfortunately when I load them into the calendar format - I am told that the pictures are not high enough resolution. This goes for all of the pictures that are loaded onto this site (rather sent to me directly) . There are some great shots which I would like to include eg the Vulcan shot with the 2 strats - but they are not sharp enough. Only half of what I have received are of print quality (ie they have poor resolution when blown up to calendar size))

Can those who have submitted photos on the forum please see if you have higher resolution shots (same subjects) and send them to my E:mail address directly cutlerpj@aol.com - one at a time if necessary.

I'm still looking for great shots of your cars - please keep them coming.

I still need about half a dozen high resolution (4-5 MB) interesting shots of your cars - close -ups , detail shots, colourful shots - please. We're almost there and I'd like more colour and variety. Action shots are good but unfortunately the ones received are not high enough resolution so cannot be used.

Please raid your Strat photo collections and send me more photos - MUST BE high resolution, Stratos shots, your copyright (or with permission), recent - within the last couple of years , and not used in previous calendars.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted photographs for the 2017 Calendar - I now have enough so no more thank you .
I have some shots of some really great looking cars - and which are an inspiration to those of us who are still building. I'm please to have got some photos from our friends in the US and a few from Europe. Sadly not all the great photos received will be usable due to the low resolution of some of them but I am trying to ensure a good mix of makes, colours and liveries. Watch this space - more news as soon as I can

I am sending the calendars out - and can assure everyone that there are sufficient at the present time. So long as you can get the order processed it apparently automatically routes through to me and I post them out. Mark I have your order (for the calendar).

When you get the calendar there will be an opportunity for the more discerning and informed members to spot the deliberate mistake .................. !

Thanks Paul - and thanks again to everyone who provided the shots. I couldnt include all of them - some for technical reasons- but chose what I thought would give a good mix of Stratos kit car makes, variations and colours.

I still have more calendars left so everyone please keep ordering !! They make good practical presents for friends and relatives.
