Got your LB or Hawk on order and collecting parts ready, these parts are getting rare now and consequently expensive to buy, I have refurbished these to a very high standard. They have been cut to shape etc and all lugs removed that may be an IVA fail, bead blasted and powder coated in Satin Black. Then assembled with new nickel plated pins and new springs. They are to the same standard as I put on my car 2 1/2 years ago and they still look as good as the day I put them on. This is because they are powder coated not painted, painted ones will deteriorate.
The asking price for these reflects the quality, and my time and expertise that has gone into creating them.
£400 or nearest offer including postage to UK.
X1/9 spares were asking 450 a PAIR for these, and they were not to the same standard as they were painted and all the necessary lugs not removed.
Will give them a few days on here then stick them on EBay if no-one wants them.
PM me if interested.
Cheers

Seriously......Dg rally have a pair of knackered ones on EBay now for 120 without the striker plates which are available elsewhere for 25 quid. Times that by 2 gives you 300 for the buggered raw material. To prep these things for powder coat is not as easy as you think without having done it before as obviously you can't alter them once powder coated to get the clearance for the new pins.
They will go on EBay and fetch what they fetch.

It's true they are getting harder to find now - I bought mine 2 or 3 years ago and as I recall at least one of them came from US. Looks like a good refurb job though !

Prices are getting mad - but that's supply and demand for you!

Looking at my records I bought 4 (2 sets of 2) for £130, but that was 18 months ago. Then I had to refurb them.

Prices are getting to the point where making copies might become viable.

As Rob's thread has been hijacked, I have moved the conversation to Group Buys.
