Gordon, Thanks for your hospitality today and taking time to talk me through your build. Your advice, hints and tips will prove invaluable. Your car is a real credit to you and the photos in your post do not do it justice. Quite simply a beautiful machine.
All the best Neil
Hope to see you on the 19th
Gordon
Further to our chat on Sunday please put me down for two.

Everyone who contacted me should have the details of my address by pm. If anyone doesn't want to watch the wedding and are at a loose end let me know as I can still rustle up a few tea bags.

Thank-you Gordon from 'Clare' and myself. Enjoyed our few hours greatly. She's still mortified about the kettle knob detachment incident which happened right after Norm and Richard left. I have my suspicions.....
Gordon
Thank you for organising the garage day, a good natter all round was had by everyone.

Oi John, what's this about knobs - what are you trying to say?? :-P
P.S. Thought it was spelled "Claire"...hahaha! Gordo's obviously a Gilbert O'Sullivan fan :)

Clair went to make coffee, grabbed hold of the knob on the kettle lid and it crumbled in her hand!

Just goes to prove some of those old sayings are cobblers - in this case, "can't crumble" :)

Thank you to everyone who came to the Garage Day in Buxton and for the biscuits and sausage rolls. David, it was interesting to see you car and how you have developed it. John/Pam, Cusinart have sent out a replacement knob FOC. It must be a known design fault.

We once went for a 2 car run on the local NY Moors, and swapped cars.
In comparison, I found the Allora easy to drive. It tracked nicely.
