Anyone got one they don't need anymore? Got an issue with mine, stripped threads for the cover plate.

Roger Evans at Peak Alfa may have one, his Busso knowledge is obviously outstanding. Happy to collect if Roger does have anything to save him a job.

Hi Guy,

I have a 12v flywheel which I can give you although not sure of its condition.
Flywheel is on engine but with gearbox still attached, it was my long abandoned spare so has been outside for many years.
The engine and box have been covered all the time so may not have suffered too much in weather.
Give my a day or two this week when its not raining and I'll remove flywheel and let you know its condition.

If still serviceable can bring to Gordon's garage day if that helps

Cheers Bob, that'd be a great help! I'll be there on Saturday!

Hi Guy,

Nice and sunny today so I've got the flywheel off.
Condition is very good looks useable and all threads are fine none stripped.
I'll bring it down on Sat.

Cheers Bob! Can you bring the 6 bolts that secure the cover plate too? I'm wondering if the ones I have are too long and my overtightening them damaged the threads....

How much do I owe you/what's your tipple? ;)

Cheers

Had already screwed cover plate bolts back in, they were alen bolts so probably not originals.
Don't need anything for the flywheel.

I could go a 2.5 Flywheel also :)

Could the stripped threads be helicoiled or larger bolts fitted :) ?
