Some spare rims are arrived from italy! TMB Racing did the job for me like mine measurements!

Are the outer rims welded on?

Yes the rear rim is welded!

Ouch!
To be absolutely honest Enzo I really don't like the idea!
A proper rear coffin spoke has the outer rim well supported by the spoke coming much further out closer to the edge of the rim.
Each to his own but I'd give the kerbs plenty of room!

Yes, you are right, it is better to stay away from the curps,
but Original Stratos in Italy use the same!
and TMB do the rims like my measurements. (ALLORA)

Group 4 cars in period had split rim coffin spokes.
On kit replicas, split rims were the norm, before wide cast wheels became available.
My car and Chris Smith's Hawk on Image wheels below:

Most production car steel wheels have the centre welded to the rim.

Difficult to see but this car had welded rear rims - at the Lancia centenary in Turin 2006
I remember vividly, seeing them and thinking at the time "I don't like that !"

It depends who's done the welding.

And what's being welded.
If these are a cheaper option then fine. But not for me.
