I thought somebody might have posted about this more than a little while ago, given the number of entries on last years Bath Lombard Rally.

Paperwork has been a little thin on the ground (a bit like the Lombard)

Anyway, I finally looked at the entry list last night via the event blog, and it appears that I'm the only club member participating, which was a bit of a shock!!

I had a look at their web page some time ago. However it was very thin on any sort of info on the event, it looked like it was a non starter.

Phil, he's not on the entry list I have, but there is a blank space @ 53, so maybe he's got that space, fingers crossed

Just got home from a very wet and slippy Mintex Rally Yorkshire, some old rally mates, and even met someone I was at primary school with!! the craik was excellent, the organisation was improving, and the format excellent. Included about 4.5 miles of loose at Bramham Park, which was very enjoyable

Is it a tour then???

Yes, but with 'private road' drive as fast as you like sections, the sections aren't timed, and your arrival and departure times are notional. The idea being that you don't go mad on the public road, as there is no such thing as OTL. At Harewood, they ran us down the service road before joining the normal hill climb route, which was interesting!!!!

I was marshalling at Harewood and then Church Fenton - "just a tour...."

I'm finding a lot of information about this (local to me) Mintex run, after the event.

Clive, thank you for the photos, and thank you for marshalling, the weather was abysmal, if I'd known you were at Church Fenton I would have bought you a tea during the hour regroup.
It was good fun, better organised than the Lombard (with room for further improvement), and let me stretch the car, something you can't do on the public road.

Great footage - confusing route sometimes and hard to spot some of the arrows!

Great footage Griff. Loved the dialog too!
Bit rough in places and wet in others so fair play for keeping the right foot in. Saw the spin coming though.
Loved it.
