When I sold Nellie I really had no idea where to be when putting a price against her, I spoke with several club members who gave differing advice from £35k up to £65k. (please bear in mind that ALL advice was welcomed).
There are numerous factors to take into account when selling a self built car, almost far too many to list !
Obviously the people selling want as much money as they can get, in my case the price decided was a price with which I personally could be comfortable with.

So in order to give anyone wishing to sell their Strato’s an idea of what it is worth then see below. (if anyone wishes to add to the list please feel free.)

Cheers Phil, it's a good starting point. But the question is...could you have got more? You sold it for the asking price so the buyer was obviously OK with that, but did you not think "*!*@, coulda got another £5 grand!!!" Then again, you were comfortable with the price, and he certainly can't have any comebacks against you....

Funnily enough I'm currently composing another in the Rant series and some of that is a bit of a reprise on prices...there's another topic I want to discuss too, so everyone, look out for that shortly. Already got the hospital beds reserved to cover any disagreements :)

I guess with the £ falling against the euro there may be more going that way ?.... ex Nigel Wilkinson car gone to Belgium... don't know what price was achieved tho'
