Well, since the owner has now 'gone public'.
Here is some info. on the rebuild of a notable Mini that was rallied on national events in 1972 by Will Sparrow.
My brother Roy, at Ralloy has prepared the Mk2 Clubman fronted (because it has an 8 port head) shell with every last detail correct.
Roy even went to visit Will Sparrow as part of this process.
Once the shell was complete, it was painted at Kartec, Pickering, North Yorks.
Then I made the period stickers and hand painted the lettering and chequers as it would have been on the Scottish Rally of 1972.

To complete the sticker set, I needed some good reference for the Scottish Rally Event sticker for the 1972 year, and guess who came up trumps on that score?
I asked Robin (Tyler-Morris) if he happened to know anyone that might have an old Scottish Rally sticker, and he said "We've got one in our garage!". (see photo attached)
So a big thank you to Robin, and Carol, by the look of the fingers holding it flat?! (The Scottish Rally sticker is the blue and white one on the right side of the bonnet)
