Hi all, I joined a while ago but only have been browsing the forum getting ideas for a possible LB build. I've finally paid my dues to become a full member. There is another member here named Bluenose from eastern Canada that's already driving his around and has giving me a huge amount of information on his build. Hope to learn more from all of you!

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you aboard! Have you got an order in with LB Cars yet? I think the order book might be closed for the time being (Craig did have an 18 month plus waiting list and the Covid 19 pandemic isn't helping either him or Hawk Cars).
Happy browsing - stay safe and well and carry on researching!

Hi Keishin, welcome as a proper member, what a fabulous City you live in. Happy memories!

You will not be disappointed if and when you get to build an LB, I managed to get mine on the road August last year after a four year build process, but have only really managed to use it twice properly before putting away for the winter, and now in lock down, so beginning to itch a bit. But hey ho it won't be for ever.

I found this forum a great help when building, there is a great deal of knowledge in here, and members are only to happy to advise when a question is asked.

We will be looking forward to your involvement.

Hey Keishin - good to have you in the group!

Vancouver, eh...nice place. Visited once back in 2000 when the sister of a girl I was dating, emigrated with her husband and kids. Couldn't believe how helpful and friendly everyone was, but maybe it was just me looking even more useless and hopeless than usual and they all felt sorry for me :)

LB were indeed not taking orders - they simply got inundated with work, and needed space to try and catch up and also streamline some of their operations. Think they were on the verge of "getting there" when the pandemic hit, but there's nothing stopping you from contacting them to find out exactly what the current situation is and what timescales might be.

In the meantime ask any questions you might have of us on here, and we'll do our best to answer them.

Hello Guy, thank you for the welcome! I've been in touch with LB since last fall when they were moving to a new building and told me to get back to them in March but here we are now and it looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer. Hopefully not too long!

Thank you Robin! Looking forward to exploring more of the site. I figure hopefully less than four years to get to mine but it looks to be that way with how things are right now. Hopefully won't have too many questions with all the knowledge going around here!

Hi Norm, yes Vancouver, born and raised! I guess the grass always looks greener on the other side! I really take this place for granted. I hope to bother LB again maybe in 6 months? Hopefully they'll be alright by then.
