Has anyone got one of these?
The offset type, not the symmetrical type.
Thanks.

The jury is still out.
It might be the upper one. 'Still checking...

Hi John,

I think it might well be the upper one.
Do you need it for anything?

No, not at all Chris. It's yours if you need it. I only brought it home the other day in a box of parts in a continual effort to reduce my storage needs. I was sorting through and it would probably have been chucked in the next day or two.
Its definitely got the spring as shown in your photo, but what "offset" are you referring to?

This is something I have just learned, after all these years:
The top one, is probably from an earlier Beta, and is the same both ways up.
The bottom one, is probably from a later Beta, and the ball is higher or lower to the 2 bolt mount face. (this is the offset one).

I'll send you a PM.

Sorry Chris, these were the kind of parts that the heathens scrapped when so many Beta's went that way, the only one I have is on the Hawk.

No problem Tim. 'Looks like John has come up trumps, ...again.

Any use?

Sadly, it's not the right one John.
You'll be cursing me for the time it took to take off and photo?!

Nah! It was already off. I'm cursing you for the time it took me to root it out of the skip!
I thought it was a long shot.

No, it's similar, but different.
