I know I can look it all up online (the IVA manual detail) - but does anybody know where I can get a PRINTED copy of the IVA manual (and I know it is updated regularly and that a printed version is only accurate on the date of printing - but I prefer to riffle through a hard copy version . So long as there is version control and I know which version I have and can refer to any subsequent revisions I will be OK.

I fear that my poor little printer wont stand up to the strain of printing an entire manual and am wondering if someone somewhere is printing them on-demand ?

additionally / alternatively can anyone highlight the areas where I am most likely to fail with a Stratos replica ? (Lister Bell)

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

too big to upload onto the forum so I've e-mailed you a .pdf copy. Print out the pages you need.

Thanks Mark - and for the details about doxdirect.com . If I can get a copy run-off for less than £20 that sounds like a reasonable deal.

Mark this is a link to where I posted the manual, maybe you could ask the webmaster to upload the replacement one as the link still works to download it straight from the server. so no space issue.

Thanks Ian

This is the link I used :https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/930247/individual-vehicle-approval-inspection-manual-passenger-vehicles.pdf

I'm trying to get Doxprint to print me a copy at a cost of £23 spiral bound with covers - but they screwed up with the file I sent and after saying they couldnt access the one on the Government website I re-sent it - so am still waiting for my hard copy.

I've now got my hard copy of the IVA manual and I must say how handy it is to be able to quickly look up areas of IVA interest instead of having to scroll through hundreds of screens.

The doxdirect document is pretty good - it's spiral bound with clear plastic front and back - and you can specify at extra cost having hard covers as well if you want. The cost was £23 - and I think well worth it. I'm sure that normally their service would be a lot better but I was just unlucky (they seem a friendly approachable bunch)
