I am selling the 2.5 V6 24v engine which I originally bought for my LB build.
I was lucky enough to get one of the brand new crate engines a couple of years ago so this is now surplus to requirements.
I have transferred the new engine number to my donor V5, so stress that this engine has a number but has no vehicle id to go with it. So I guess its good for a spare or replacement only. Not for a new build?
I can't offer any guarantee of course. It's never run in my possession, but has been dry stored.
It should be fairly decent as the service record I was given with it shows a rebuild with new pistons, liners, water pump, cambelt kit etc., at 64k, ( all due to waterpump/headgasket failure and the last MOT issued only records 81k.
I was, of course, intending to give it the normal refresh of water pump, Cambelt kit, and crank bearings before installation, and anyone else should do the same, but I repeat it should make a decent basis.
It is minus flywheel, thermostat housing, plenum and injectors, but is otherwise complete with cam belt still fitted. Er, should have said no engine electrics, sensors etc. either.
The top section of Cambelt cover is present but cracked.
Make me an offer.
Collection preferred but I will secure it on a pallet and wait in for your courier to collect it if I have to and the offer is OK.
