Is it that time of year already?? Hey ho, suppose as Chair-type guy I should show my face and smile at people. I was gonna say "put me down", but you'll do that anyway....
Actually, looking forward to it, and it may just be that I turn up in a Strat of my very own. Anyone offended by blue wheels should reconsider attendance or wear tinted glasses :)
Phil
Two more David J and Chris J.

Ho come on, you will miss a wonderful summer of fun.
I'll be there - maybe - just maybe in the resurrected Allora. My better half might be working, but if not then that will be 2 for T.

Nearly there Robin, as Gordon rightly pointed out, my indicators are flashing more than 120 times a minute = another iva fail! , more earths me thinks?
Still aiming to catch some summer... ish
Hi Phil
Hope to make in there in the Allora.

Lorra Lorra Loras.....I like that. Maybe it's the Cilla Black Memorial Garden? We could have a "Blind Drunk" prize for the one with the most empty bottles and cans?

Just as well, Steve, or someone would have the electric power steering off it while you weren't looking :)
Hi All
Well the weather order has gone to the big guy upstairs....... and it looks promising for Saturday !!!.... so fingers crossed it stays that way.
If you are coming in a normal road car I have arranged parking across the road at Bridle Road Farm, in the orchard...... I will put a couple of orange arrows to guide you.
Cheers

Jeez Phil, your garage days get more sophisticated by the year...next time I'm expecting special designer shopping outlets and gourmet dining. In fact I think we'll hold the 2023 AGM at your gaff :) :)

Sadly Phil, higher management will not be with me on Saturday as is being required to undertake a serious child minding session, 5 child’s age 10 to less than 2 years from midday through to Sunday am. I have said i will join the party later!!!!!!! I think Sunday afternoon could be lost to sleep.
As you say, weather looks good, so looking forward to respite before the storm.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robin
That's ok Robin, no worries.......... will you be ok travelling all this way without supervision and guidance ??

Pics please - I can't make it today, last minute rush of parts for Gerry that I've got to deliver to a mutual friend on the Welsh border today, then not week it's collect a couple of Dino drivetrains that will make the return journey to go to a specialist near me. Bugger. The alternative was a 2 day van hire for me to get down to Gerrys when we're trying to pack up the house pre move!
Have fun everyone!
Guy
Thanks for everyone who turned up... I had a great day.....

Thanks for a great day Phil,
It's very good of you to do this for the club, as usual.
No dinosaurs encountered on the way home!!
Thanks Phil for being such an excellent host.
Great spending a few hours chatting to everyone and got some ideas!
Car got a bit hot on the way home, may need to move the fuel pump as it started to whine! Either that or drive slower!
Looking forward to future events.
Thanks
James

Engine temp got up to 100C crawling through Bradford on way home, but all OK when fans cut in

As discussed with a number of the guests i am on the member map (take the "s" of the end of https to be able to see it.
I am a few miles south of Skipton.
I am sure in one of the posts, someone is building a car near Colne
Any ideas who, and if they want any help (or not), just ask

'Twas indeed a good day. Great weather, ace place, top host,....and a bunch of club-type peeps with nothing better to do :)
As you'll have noticed from the first pic, I managed to get out of my car without face-planting - amazing what a few hours practice can achieve! In fact that was my first "proper" drive in the car, about 115 miles each way - it ran faultlessly and even stuck in traffic the temps didn't get daft. Think I could do with changing the toe settings though - new shoes became a bit tight and put pressure on my toenails so it was a bit painful heading home, making for an awkward pedal action, so moral of story - run new shoes in before long drive!
Griff - yea, the extra "6" woulda been great, but I actually spotted "V666 STR" on a Kia or Hyundai SUV a few years back so it was already taken. I got the one on the car from "Ironman" Rob, who had the first Toyo LB which is now in Germany.
Chris - thanks, that's a very generous offer which I'll gladly accept! Bring 'em to the AGM and we'll do the biz round the back of the marquee.... ;)
And finally....mega-thanks to Phil for putting on a great day out. Judging by the cakes and biccies left at the end, I reckon he'll be putting on all that weight he's so recently lost :) :)

Thanks Phil, mega day as ever, really enjoyed following snot green & custard in my 'stomach lining' orange one, we were the brightest things on the road I think!
Always a joy to be on the same piece of road as a Stratos:)
Cheers all.

a serious child minding session, 5 child’s age 10 to less than 2 years from midday through to Sunday am. I have said i will join the party later!!!!!!! I think Sunday afternoon could be lost to sleep. Robin
I joined the party, and now well on the way to recovery this morning, it was fun while it lasted, mind you children didn’t seem to recognise that the hour had gone forward, but my body did, especially when the under 2 insisted on serving imaginary cups of tea at 6.30am (new time) along with the rest of the sleep overs, it got very crowded in our bed!!!!!!
Thanks Phil for hosting a great day, and has been said already, great weather, great cars and great company.
And Norman, your extrication antics are safe for another day, I failed to put the camera action on to video!!!
