Hi, I had my Jolly Club Stratos for some time, did an engine rebuild and now ready for its first rally next week - looking forward to it!

Also I bought (for good money..) the English Instruction Book for the Stratos (I previously only had an Italian version - hard!).
Of course I scanned it in and here is the PDF for everyone to use:

Cheers

For those that don't know, a Jolly Club Stratos is a very rare car.
The Jolly Club put a few cars together from parts a while after the production of originals stopped.
'Not sure how many, but a 'number 8' was sold by Bonhams a while back.

Bernard,
Did your car have white wheels?

Thanks for the English pdf.

Thanks for the pics, Bernard! And as it happens, someone else from the Netherlands was asking about an English version of the handbook....I bet you've made his day!

Haha, yes he works for me:) At the end we purchased the English manual from Collector Studio and scanned it in ... information wants to be free!

Oh well, I guess I wasted my time sending him an email with the link.....I suppose I'll also be wasting my time emailing him with my invoice/bill... ;)

Yes that's the one. Wheels and spoilers have been repainted.
The Jolly Club 037's were actually more famous than the stock cars I believe!

Thanks for the link Bernard, you can never have enough information for these cars! That is one gorgeous Stradale.
Good luck with the rally next week ,

Cheers,

Well and for the sake of completeness, I also have the Italian version of the manual:

White was not a good colour for the Stradale wheels.
How many Jolly Club Stratos are there Bernard?

Colin Artus says:

This is true, Jolly Club purchased Bertone's leftovers after Lancia ended the Stratos programme. I remember speaking to someone back in about 1985 who had bought one and paid £17k for it which was a fair bit less than a good original series car would have cost. I recall then that the production number was less than twenty so perhaps they found a few more chassis later on.

Welcome and thank you Bernard, that is a special car. Every day is a school day; I didn't know that 'Jolly Club' was a continuation production, I just thought it was a sponsor/team.
