Although Bob Sharp (past club official) did polish his car to this standard after a particularly wet drive from Scotland to Stoneleigh one year to put his car on the Hawk stand.... I think he was up most of the night !

I've been on eBay searching for vinyl mud decals.
That way I can just peel them off when I get back from a run.
Cunning or wot!

Our local Eastern European hand car wash has a special offer on a Monday. Full hand wash for £3.
Last year I learned that there's a of F's and O's in the Hungarian phrase for, "I'm sorry sir, I don't think that your car qualifies"

Maybe....could be cos it's not in Alitalia livery. Not that I suppose you'd see it with all the crap all over it.

Interesting to see the miniscule washer bottle ( bag ) - just like mine out of the Beta. How long would that last in a muddy rally !

You are not the only one...... Well you might be, if you do it after EVERY drive. Took it back to paint, i.e. removed the last four years wax, etc, and then re-polished. Remembering that it hasn't been a garage queen all of the time. It was pebble dashing the underside, (and the consequent respray) that prompted me to make the mudflaps!!
