David Jowsey has been using a very similar system for the past 30 Years on his car.

Obviously the driver in the video clip is not worried about Oil Pressure either.

Given my current oil pressure gauge issues it was the first thing I noticed!

Like David I've had a similar set up on my car since the first European trip - just a piece of 90 degree drainpipe with a saddle clip to sit on the top of the door, a Lancia Trevi air vent on the inside to direct the air and some mesh on the front to shred any wasps that get in the way...

Very effective at speed, no so much use in town and one now blocks a side mirror since the conversion to LHD...
