Just bought a pipe beader from this guy. Excellent service and really well made piece of kit.

I checked with David from Useful tools if ok to post a recommendation here.

Sach.

Beads are essential on any pipe operating under pressure - this sort of tool is something that you'll only use on a limited number of occasions so the price is hard to justify on an individual level, maybe it's something that the club ought to consider buying to lend to members? When I needed one I baulked at the cost and ended up making one myself. It works just fine on any material including stainless steel but won't do 15mm pipes. I'd have happily rented or borrowed one if the club had such a system...

It really was worth the cost. I would be happy to help anybody out if they need some pipes done, it's perhaps easier for me than lending the kit out.

Ditto as Guy said - in the end I made one using You-tube guidance and a modified hand tool - but this is a nice bit of kit though.

Nice bit of kit. I borrowed one to do the beads on my car and it dealt with the stainless tubes very well. Their benders are good too (not that I could justify owning one).

I have an Earl's Beading tool that does the smaller pipes. Quite a neat design.

Earl's Beading? I thought that was a village in Northamptonshire :)
