Phil, I shall be there in something, singularly as Carol will be preparing a pop up Tea party for a group of elderly folks who don’t get out much, most of whom are younger than us!!!!!!!!

Phil
I hope to be with you with my new curved spoiler and powder coated valve covers.
I know now not to drive past and end up lost in a lot of fields

Almost every time I have been out (done 280m in last week or so) It has rained... now don't care, its covered in muck & that's the end of it:)

See you tomorrow peeps.

See you tomorrow peeps.

Well now I am a Yorkshireman after moving up North, it is well know that where there's muck there's brass - or expensive alloys at least

Thanks Phil, for allowing the annual invasion!

For those that weren't there:
5 LB STRs
2 Alloras
1 Corse
1 Hawk
A Mk1 Cooper S and Honda endurance rally car.

Without two 'jet-setters' turning up in a Jaguar, it could have been 11 Stratos.

Without two 'jet-setters' turning up in a Jaguar, it could have been 11 Stratos.

Or 14 with Robin's LB and Tom's Allora.
The list could go on and on.

As an aforementioned jet-setter (not on the same level as Annalisa tho), it was great to see such a good turn-out and all the Strats, and to catch up with peeps. My only regret was just prior to leaving when I discovered a full-size apple pie hiding under a tin of biccies - but, there was no custard, no dishes, and no knife to cut it, so I suspect it was there to illustrate Phil's high-status lifestyle rather than for any plebs to eat...

Reason for the Austin Powers Shaguar was basically cos it was P'ing down earlier, plus we just couldn't be bothered Stratting and fancied something cosseting, and also cos I'd never been in an XK8 before. Very pleasant actually, but no sports job. Which is basically what they say about me too.

Big Ta to Phil for hosting another great garage day! Won't be long till there are more at his do than attend the AGM....and no, I'm not kidding :)

Phil, thanks so much for hosting another fantastic garage day. The weather was kind when we were chatting and ogling the great turnout of Strats.
Your build is progressing well and always more than a little envious of your garage setup. Whoever says size isn't important hasn't built a couple of kit cars in single garages!
Seeing all of the completed cars has given me a real boost and thanks in particular to Dave and Neil for allowing me to crawl all over their cars and answering my many questions.
Cheers again Phil
