"Dunno what it is. Looks like a TR7"....

Priceless.

Cheers,

Yeah, it's actually a Strat rep based on a TR7. Makes it easier doing the body.

As it happens, yes, my car IS for sale, sadly - not because I'm bored with it or anything like that, but circumstances are forcing me into it. I'll post a "proper" advert in the For Sale section soon.

Makes a change from the usual MR2's ;)

It'd end up being a live re-run of The Prisoner....suppose a Strat's a bit like a Lotus 7 with a roof, actually

Well, they do say that there is a buyer for everything.

Yellow car, blue wheels, no Alitalia stripes, no mega-loads of decals, no mega-loads of lights, steering wheel on the funny side of the car and not even built by a man in a shed.

I reckon there will be a queue around the block of black Labradors and their owners with cash in hand.

;) ;)

Have you contacted David Blunkett to let him know?

I cant believe you've done 7000 miles since you have built it, is it your daily run about? Hope it stays in the UK and I get chance to see it as it look beautiful.
Interested to know who's done the most miles in their cars probably a lot with very few on the clock.

Haha, no, Martin, but it does get taken out on long runs quite a bit! You might see it before it goes as we're moving further North, up near Haltwhistle actually.

Pete - there's still time.....;)

Mine is over 100k... It has been on the road since 1991 though so it's only averaging 3500 per annum.

100k is a great advert for the Stratos kit car, well done Guy. I think we need a Northern Garage day so you can show off your car before it moves on Norm . I would offer but the side of the A75 isn't probably the best place although I could bring refreshments to some where else.

Well there's Gordon's in Buxton on the 16th (I think it is), but that's a fair trek from where you are! If I get to give it a final wizz out up that way I'll let you know and we can meet up.
