SOLD and delivered to new owner on the continent. Many thanks to Glenburgie Cars for making the process painless for me.

After long consideration I have decided it is time to pass custodianship of my Allora - Originally built by SEC club chairman Norman - to someone else.

It has been in my possession for 22 years and was a project I really would have liked to completed and used for the purpose The Stratos was designed for. Unfortunately health and MSA rules changes have made that impossible. So its time to move it on.

This is a one off Allora in many ways but is a project not one for a quick fix and on the road in a couple of weeks. I am sure you will find the parts list impressive.

The sale is being handled by my good friend Liam Wood owner of Glenburgie Cars and all enquiries should be with them please.

Follow the link below for full information and contact details.

That's very sad, Ste, but I wouldn't have mentioned I'd originally built it, unless you're happy to take a chunk off the price.... ;) Anyway, good luck with it!

'Sorry you're having to sell Stephen. I'm sure it will sell though.
Some photos of your car, back in the day:

Was Norm into yellow wheels at some point?

Only with the polished rims. If they'd been all yellow it woulda been a bit much. See? Even back in '89, I had impeccable taste ;)

How you doing young man, have you built one recently? Thing is I don't actually have to sell but its the right thing to do. I am not getting any younger, been retired nearly 8 years and it still not done plus my health not going to get better so its the sensible decision. My only regret was I really wanted to do a rally in it but rules changes made that impossible many years ago so I have got over that.

Take care

I'm building a Stratos replica:

I understand your decision to sell, and demand is high, at least.
