I bought this https://www.autodoc.co.uk/magneti-marelli/12824062 which is supposed to be off a Beta - it didn't come with the mounting plate I don't suppose anyone knows where I can get one (autodoc doesn't seem to have them).

Well I can tell you that isn't from a Lancia Beta!

But I can't tell you what it is from. It looks like the sort that needs a mount bonded to the screen and that clips onto it?

Looks like a good call Chris! Looks like it'll need to be nailed to the glass?

Matt, before you decide to buy that (other sellers are available) please check that once installed the mirror can be adjusted sufficiently to be of use! I suspect the Ducato has a steeper screen than the Stratos so it may not work.

Not specifically - I had one fitted and so not flagged as a fail but the one I fitted has a very loose ball/socket so the mirror doesn't hold in place hence looking for an alternative
