View Full Version : LB build trolley
I've finally reached the point where my LB build is ready to come off the build trolley, so does anybody need one? (Cue 'off his trolley' joke please, Norm).
It is in good condition, very well made to Craig's standard design with big heavy-duty castors, two of them with brakes. I think it really deserves a blue plaque for its historic value - it was previously used by Leigh Holloway, Neil Beardsley and Steve Sellars.
It cost me ?100 but I'm not expecting to get that back. If anyone can make use of it, a small donation to my favourite charity (no, not my beer fund) would seal the deal. If no-one wants it I'll have to scrap it, which would be a real shame.
I am in east Surrey, close to the M25.

That's my old build trolley I think!
Glad to see it's doing the rounds and being useful :D
I sold it to Neil, how many have had it since?

Please dont scrap it, donate it to SEC. Just needs someone/somewhere to store it for next person to "join the fun"

Yes, definitely yours, Leigh. Neil bought it from you, then he sold it to Steve Sellars, and he sold it to me in 2022. It is certainly very sturdy and well built. Good job by whoever you got to build it (or is it your handiwork?) I suspect there aren't any LB kit builders waiting for one of these now, though, but hopefully a Hawk builder might be able to modify it to fit.
I'm currently trying to beat your record for extended build time:rolleyes:. Over 3 years now and haven't got the body on yet (but that should be happening very soon).

I'd love to do that, but I can't store it for very long, so would need someone who can collect it and store it fairly soon. Can anyone help?
I recognised the wheels and the black caps on the nuts! It was made by my local fabricators (only 5 mins away). Great bunch, family run firm and very friendly.

Off your trolley? Nah, I don't do jokes like that. .......much :)
No, I must be confusing you with someone else. By the way, I've just had my hose ends crimped...

Well make sure your nipples are tightened aa well while you're at it
Funny you should mention that, I've literally just done it (yes, really, not joking!). But I won't mention what I did with my dipstick as I think it is time to end this conversation now before I get barred.
Is this still available ? I am local and can collect.
Sorry Paul, although I still have it at the moment I'm afraid it is already spoken for.
No worries Jon, I was a bit late spotting your post.
You must be making good progress.
Maybe we can have a southern area meet up soon ?
