Another steering wheel thread
My Hawk currently has a Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel fitted, and the original Fiat steering column and shroud, with an adaptor reducing down to fit the Momo.
I have a Ferrero Stratos steering wheel that i'd like to fit, and the PCD on the mounting holes of the Ferrero is larger than the Momo, so I can't re-use the Momo boss.
Does anybody have the same configuration, and if so, could you let me know where i might get one.
Thanks
David
Re: Another steering wheel thread
Hi David, as you know I've got one of Gerrys replica wheels on my car and the Momo hub wouldn't fit it, I think I got a Nardi hub in the end. Can you measure the distance across a couple of mounting holes?

Hi Dave,
You'll struggle to find a Ferrero boss.
The Nardi/Personal pcd is 1mm smaller than the Ferrero. So you might be able to drill and tap one, depending on the casting?

USA
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1981-Fiat-sp...12c7f3&vxp=mtr
Seller is also listing 124 Spider parts, gearknob (rough) plus gauges and rheostat/warning lights.

Well spotted Guy. If those are 75mm, I wished I'd known before, rather than having to adapt a 'Personal' 124 hub.
'Might be best to get sellers to confirm the pcd, without prompting them?
Re: Another steering wheel thread
It's 75mm Guy, Ferrero.
Guess i'll have to look out for a boss on Ebay

Re: Another steering wheel thread
I contacted Andrew at Omicron (at the suggestion of Vince) and they have bosses in stock that have both Momo and Nardi drillings. There's space on there to re-drill for Ferrero, so i ordered one of those. It's exactly correct in every other aspect. Once it's drilled i can quickly swap back to the Momo wheel if i ever need to.
Cheers for your help
David
