So why didn't I try going halves with someone in December 2002 ?

I knew (the late) Don Pither quite well and he helped me a lot with advice about my Hawk build, letting me look at his car whenever i wanted to. He was very generous with his time, and even took me out in it. Later on, we did a couple of Top Gear shoots, one for the TV show, and another for the magazine. I have some nice photos of this car, with mine and Vinces car somewhere and will post them up when i get time to scan them.

'Hard to believe that the car didn't sell through the classifieds at that time? The asking price was £40k.
