One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Hi All,
Just took delivery of mr2by4's green HF2000 Stradale from Texas. Getting ready to start sorting her out so I can take her all over Northern California. Hoping to get her decently driveable first, and track-day worthy eventually. Just wanted to pop in and say hullo before bombarding the forums with technical questions!
Best,
Scott

Welcome Scott !!
And good luck with your new toy:o
Are you modifying many things on her ?
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
We'll see! (probably)
As of right now, the car's been completed but had lots of shoddy finishing work and was never run in and shaken down. The interior and electrical is all coming out, and I'll be doing some panel fitment work and color sanding.
She'll likely get the Alfa 6 upgrade eventually, with five lugs and coffins. She's got the US standard Beta lampredi right now, great noises but not much to back them up...Sounds like a slippery slope to lots of projects!
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Woowwww ! Many improvments planned !
keep on this good project!
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Yea, last time Paul was up here he told me about your car, sounds like fun. Paul should be able to help you sort out the Alfa V6 upgrade.

Beautiful. Yep, Paul's car is what inspired me to pick her up!
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Welcome!
With all the kits on the west coast now we may need to have a meet when they are all done.
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Nice!
What colour is that? Trying to decide on what green to do mine.
Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
it's a Fiat colour - Verde Chariot.

Re: One More Hawk HF in California Now!
Cheers. Can't find any record of that. There is a modern green (pale) called Verde Chario. Edit - think I've found it. Fiat Light Green #358?
Fiat Veridian (326) looks like a suitably mad colour for a Stratos. Little early though as it was only used 69-73 apparently.
