Essex Lancia owners
Few people met at The Chequers, Matching Green this evening. Nice drive in the dark, headlights (LED) are really good, but one side light out, bent pin in the multi-plug, and no instrument lighting, which is strange 'cos they were working yesterday, ho hum, more fixing to keep me occupied.

Re: Essex Lancia owners
Great to meet Griff (we had met some years ago when I had sold some OMP racing seats to him for a Stratos project he was embarking on but the grey matter didnt put 2 & 2 together until we were chatting), and also John Whalley and to hear some of his stories campaigning his beast.
We had a great drive home to Bures to swop sShapes over for another car only to find the Dunmow road was closed so all in all a 60 mile ride at night in Shades which was now telling me I need to improve the pop up head lights as when dip they just dont give enough light......
So the Essex Strati have had their first sub-regional meeting!! Trying to get Suffolk one organised later this month.....

Re: Essex Lancia owners
That's Great...
Some movement on the regional club meets at last....
Anyone else trying to do the same?

Re: Essex Lancia owners
Spot the turbo air intake on John Whalley's car?

Re: Essex Lancia owners
It makes perfect sense to put it there under the roof spoiler. It must get a deal of force feeding.
Steve Ellis has a similar setup on his Corse but just go get some cool air into the engine bay.

Re: Essex Lancia owners
When are the Essex meets.
I will try and get over from St Albans.
Regards
Steve

Re: Essex Lancia owners
3rd Wednesday of the month.
I'll get some more pictures of Johns' engine installation as well.
Tim, not sure if you worked it out, but the seats in my car, are the one's you sold me, and I then recovered, etc Attachment 11759
