Without any shadow of a doubt it is easier to paint the Alitalia stripes on than to apply vinyl.
Sure you get the Bilstein and Agip logos as well as the Lancia/Alitalia lettering ( which is probably available from members on this forum) when you buy a full set, but you will end up throwing away a lot of green and red vinyl when you try to apply it to the louvres, roof spoiler etc.

Everything that John says is correct.
I've done 4 Alitalia colour schemes for RSD so far. 3 painted and 1 totally in wrap vinyl.
The wrap version cost a fortune, it's a lot of hard work, it doesn't look quite as good new, and will deteriorate quicker.
