Shades For Sale in France.
Can't find the original thread where this was mentioned but it's here on Facebook.

The car is currently road registered in France but should be able to return to the UK on it's original plates (SHR475S)
No connection to the seller who is asking €95,000

Re: Shades For Sale in France.
Be interesting to see how it fares....2 year wait for a new Hawk, LB order book still closed, means prices for existing cars are at a point where there's no such thing as a cheap Strat anymore!
Re: Shades For Sale in France.
Yes It’s a good opportunity and a very nice car!
I was in touch with the french seller recently for one mate ‘s friend interested to buy
The fact is the car is still on RHD and the deal hasn’t be done!
The price can be negociated too and the car could be back in UK!
Re: Shades For Sale in France.
Get it back to John to cover to LHD? Maybe install a Gp4 dash at the same time?

Yeah Guy that’s an idea but I think John is very busy now with his LB build and his Allora waiting some refurbishment!!https://www.stratosec.com/Forum/show...ilies/wink.png
And I have some other projects on their way!!https://www.stratosec.com/Forum/show...s/rolleyes.png
But if anyone considers to buy let me know if I could help in the deal with the seller!
Re: Shades For Sale in France.
I'm relieved!
I guess a second conversion is always going to be easier, but still takes time. Which I haven't got!
Some good pointers from Guy made the first one easier than it could have been.
Allen's car had a Wilwood pedal box which actually made conversion easier than I would imagine the standard Hawk pedal arrangement would be.
I still have a mould for a useful fibreglass panel which covers the pedal area if anyone is considering lhd conversion.
Re: Shades For Sale in France.
I'm in contact with the new owner of "Shades" which has moved on to Corsica now. Conversion to LHD is highly likely!
