The GT Classic - 2nd to 9th October 2023

Got an email from Classic Grand Touring, who're putting together the GT Classic later this year which runs the length of the land, incorporating time trial and sprint events at various motorsport venues including Brooklands, Thruxton, Mallory, Harewood, Knockhill etc.
Even though entry criteria is for cars made between 1950 -1980, they're extending an invitation to club members with, as they put it, "very good replicas" as well as genuine cars. It's one of those all-in things with upmarket hotels, food, etc. all part of the package, ending up at Gleneagles for the final night and prize-giving. As you can imagine, it's not cheap - ?4400 per person based on two sharing a car and room, or ?5650 for single occupancy accommodation. Yes, I know, there are some long-term owners here who didn't pay that much for their cars, but welcome to upmarket events in 2023 :)
