Milton Holland
I have been informed this morning of the sad passing of Milton Holland a few months ago.
Milton was the first Chairman of the Strato?s Replica Club, now of course the Strato?s Enthusiast Club, he was also an active member of the Alpine Renault scene as he owned an Alpine A110.
He held one of the first if not THE first garage days at his home in Wolverhampton where his Strato?s Replica sat alongside the Alpine A110? I suspect everyone that day was envious of his collection, I know I was !!
I will remember Milton as an amiable character and a kind helpful man, never having, in my experience, hear him say a bad word about anyone.
RIP Milton

Re: Milton Holland
My only contact with Milton was after Frederic purchased his Corse. Although it had passed through at least one owner since Milton owned it, he was most enthusiastic to give information about the car and a little excited to learn that it was going to be restored.
A very pleasant and helpful fellow.

Re: Milton Holland
I joined the club after the years that Milton was most involved. So I've never met him.
Looking at the early newsletters, he does seem to have done more than his bit for the club.
'Sad to see this message today.

Re: Milton Holland
Thank you for letting us know Phil. Milton was a great asset to the club in the early days helping make it a friendly, all inclusive club irrespective of which manufacturer you chose as the basis for your replica. Thankfully the club has maintained that tradition, a great legacy thank you Milton. RIP.

I have been informed of this sad news in last october
I have been in touch some time with Milton when I purchased his Corse S
Milton was a nice guy with a lot of passion for sportcars; He has built the Corse and owned some others cars like Alpine if I remember well

Re: Milton Holland
Here some old photos Milton had sent me when we discussed about his cars.
One photo where He hill climbed with a prototype R6 in the late 60?s and another one after he had built the Corse in a club display early 90?s
