Massimo at the Rolling Road
Spent today at AP Racing Engines at Blidworth Nottingham. The car was starting and driving ok but with an issue at 2000rpm (noticeable mainly in 5th and 6th), the throttle did not respond making me change gear and drive through 2000rpm. Also some people who had followed me said that they smelt fuel.
The map did show area's of over fuelling and under fuelling, this has now been sorted and it is much better to drive.
Many thanks to LB for supplying the comm link for the ECU.
generally figures are
Max 319 BHP
Max rolling road speed in 5th 169mph
really pleased with the result.

Impressive numbers Phil.
Not seen the new car in the flesh. Is this on throttle bodies?

Standard Toyota 3.5vvt.....with LB comp exhaust, SCS ECU, Large KN air filter
Re: Massimo at the Rolling Road
I'll go and sit in the corner Phil. I thought it was an Alfa!
Doh!
Re: Massimo at the Rolling Road
Glad to hear that you've managed to get the engine set up better Phil. Has it also curred the 'running on' when you switch it off? The guys at AP Racing come highly recommend by my local garage who rally a Gp4 Mk2 Escort.

Ah. That was the engine on the floor at your 2023 garage day.
