Rectangular red light in the middle of the Stradale dash??

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say, but what is the purpose of this light? In videos of a car being driven, it looks like maybe it's an upshift/ red line warning light?
Can someone clarify?

Handbrake warning light and low brake fluid level warning light.

I seem to remember it is an (UK) IVA requirement

OP is in South Carolina, USA. It may not be required there?

For IVA you have to have the fluid level warning light wired such that the bulb can be independently lit outside of the fluid level circuit so that you know if the bulb has blown - having it shared with the handbrake indicator achieves that. I only know this as one of my fails was having the handbrake and fluid levels wired separately!

Learn something every day. Makes wiring easier too. Battery-fuse-light-earth 1 at handbrake and earth 2 through the level float contacts..
