An interesting post on the SEC Facebook page

I have a feeling that "MSA Aprroved roll cage" , may be a claim too far. If he's relying on the ancient and much shared Litton certificate.

John, I think this might give a little more context, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uheXY2fwzw (worth a watch on its own)
I think?? this is the VR6 engined rallycross car that used its own chassis, and the only link with Litton was the origins of the bodywork
No doubt somebody will have more knowledge
The John Cross Rallycross car started life as a Litton Corse "I" built by Andy Kelly who worked at Litton back in the day.
It was originally fitted with a Vauxhall Red Top mated to a Hewland box & was used as a rally car.
It later sold to a guy named Madham (also an Andy) sans engine & box. Andy D was once a member on these pages, he started to fit a VR6 motor but then sold it on to JC who finished the car and prepped it for Rally Cross.
I think there will have been many changes implemented over it's time in RC to make it both more robust and more reliable but the original car still exists underneath somewhere.
See HERE for the car in its previous incarnations.
